A 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck northeastern Iran on Friday, injuring at least 110 people, according to state-run media.
The quake hit 715 kilometers (445 miles) east of Tehran and was centered 26.1 kilometers (16.2 miles) deep, the U.S. Geological Survey said.The city of Torbat-e Heydarieh, at the epicenter, was rocked for about 10 seconds, the Islamic Republic News Agency reported.

A bomb blast killed four soldiers and injured 41 others in northeastern India on Friday morning, authorities said.
The roadside bomb went off as the soldiers were patrolling an area in the state of Assam, said P.K. Goswami, district commissioner. The victims are members of the nation's Central Reserve Police Force.

Flooding caused by monsoon rains has killed at least 325 people across Pakistan, according to an aid organization.That toll includes 25 people killed in Pakistani-controlled Kashmir, said Anwar Kazmi, spokesperson for Edhi Foundation.
